Nashville, TN - As the Mega Millions jackpot reaches $630 million, we wanted to look back at recent winners like Margaret Weatherby.
Margaret became a legend in lottery circles earlier this year when she, at 102, opted for annual payments over a lump sum.
"Many people thought she was crazy," said lottery commissioner Bill Jacobs. "But Margaret is a shrewd businesswoman. She knew she would get even more over time if she took the annuity payments."
Now at 103, Margaret uses her winnings to travel around the world on Carnival Cruise ships. She says she plans to buy her own super yacht in the next couple of years.
