95% of Americans say they'd be 'Alright' if Matthew McConaughey ran for president

Austin, TX - Less than 24 hours after Matthew McConaughey hinted to reporters that he might run for governor of Texas, a new survey finds that 95% would be "alright" if the actor ran for president.

The poll asked over 15,000 Americans their opinion of the Academy Award-winning actor running for the nation's highest office. The results were fascinating.

  • 100% of Republican, Democrat, and Independent women said they would vote for McConaughey

  • Only 1% of Trump supporters said they would vote for him in 2024, but that went up to 93% if he ran after Trump's third term

  • 98% of men simply said "Alright, Alright, Alright," which the poll took as favorable

All totaled, 95% of those surveyed said they would support a President McConaughey.

We reached out to the actor for comment, but he was reportedly busy driving through the desert in his Lincoln.
