Biden, Pope end meeting early to share communal gelato

Vatican City, Italy - According to reports, President Joe Biden and Pope Francis ended their two-hour meeting 20-minutes early on Friday to share a communal chocolate chip gelato.

"You wanna go for some gelato?" Biden reportedly asked Pope Francis. "When in Rome, do as the Romans do, right? Let's grab a cone!"

The Secret Service, along with a regiment of Swiss Guards, led the two world leaders through St. Peter's Square to backstreet gelato truck, where the two enjoyed the Italian treat.

Biden next travels to Glasgow, Scotland, where he hopes to split a cone with Greta Thunberg.
