Chris Gaines to also open club at Garth Brooks' new Nashville location

Nashville, TN - Less than 24 hours after Garth Brooks announced his plan to open a new honky-tonk in Nashville, rock artist Chris Gaines shared he will also be opening a club at the same location.

The Lost in You singer told reporters, "We feel very lucky to partner with Garth on this project, and we can't wait to rock Lower Broadway."

On Tuesday, Brooks said his venue would be "a classic honky-tonk that welcomes all encourages love and kindness while playing the greatest music in the world in the home of country music."

It is unclear if Gaines is simply a partner in the honky-tonk or if he will have a different club in the same building. Both artists gave the address, 411 Broadway.

One fan wrote on social media, "I hope it's two separate clubs. They're such different people and artists. They really should be separate. A little bit of country and a little bit of rock-n-roll!"

Neither Brooks nor Gaines responded to our requests for comment.
