Nashville, TN - The U.S. Department of Holidays announced this morning that Christmas in July has been moved to December due to the rising cases of COVID-19.
Spokesperson Amy Donnahue told reporters, "We've been watching the situation very closely, and we feel postponing Christmas in July until December is the right decision."
Donnahue assured the disappointed public that all the usual retail and car lot sales would be observed on the new dates.
The December date has left many fearful that the festivities will be pushed even further into Spring 2021 if there is another outbreak in the winter as many expect.
