Antioch, TN - Circuit City stores throughout Middle Tennessee and across the country will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
The electronics giant joins a long list of retailers that have decided to close for the 2020 holiday, including CompUSA, Border's Books, and Media Play.
Retail experts say they are concerned about what the closure will mean for the company's bottom line but agree it is a show of goodwill towards staff members who traditionally must work on the holiday.
It is unclear if the retailer will reopen for Black Friday, but their most recent circular shows they have VHS movies on sale for 4 for $20 and 512 MB iPod Shuffles for $99.
