Clarksville 911 releases calls about mysterious boombox heard across city


Clarksville, TN - Clarksville, Tennessee 911 services released nearly a dozen emergency calls made about the mysterious boombox heard across the city last week. Several of the calls are transcribed here.


Call #1

Operator: 911, what's your emergency?

Caller: "Hi. I just heard a loud boombox that shook our whole house.

Operator: Can you describe the sound?

Caller: It sounded like AC/DC.

Operator: AC/DC?

Caller: I think it was you shook me all night long.

Operator: Makes sense. We'll send someone out.

Caller: No, it's ok. We like it. Just ask them to turn it down.


Call #2

Operator: 911, what's your emergency?

Caller: "Hello. Something just rocked our house.

Operator: We've received several calls. Did it sound like a loud boombox?

Caller: Yes, it sounded like you dropped a bomb on me.

Operator: Is everyone ok?

Caller: We're good. Just trying to sleep.


Call #3

Operator: 911, what's your emergency?

Caller: "Hi. I just heard a huge boombox so loud our walls were shaking.

Operator: Are you hurt?

Caller: I'm fine. I was just wondering where I can get one.

Operator: I'm sorry. This is emergency services. I can't help you. Maybe try Amazon.

Caller: Ok, rock on.


Law enforcement officers are still investigating but have no leads on where the boombox came from. Many suspect it is someone who grew up in the '80s or UFOs.
