Nashville, TN - Josh Hampton and Kelly Hilton found themselves in a dilemma on Monday when they realized the "Christmas star" is going to visible the same night as Part 1 of The Bachelorette finale.
"We're so torn," said Kelly. "I'm sure the Christmas star would be cool and all, but we have so much time invested in Tayshia's journey. Right, honey?"
Josh agreed with his girlfriend of four months, "Uh, yeah, I mean, I just love the show so, so much. We've watched every episode live for the past 11 weeks. I'd hate to miss it for some silly star that we can see again in 2080."
The couple says they are going to discuss it further around lunchtime, but the plan at the moment is to re-watch last week's episode and then tune-in for the once-in-a-lifetime TV finale.
Kelly said, "We have to think about the stories we will someday tell our kids. We can either say we were there when Tayshia found true love or we watched some planets perfectly aligning. I think the answer is clear. Right, honey?"
"Yep, totally," said Hilton.
