DC Police seek help identifying suspect in theft of U.S. mailboxes

Washington, D.C. - DC police are seeking the help of anyone with information about a suspect responsible for the theft of multiple U.S. mailboxes throughout the nation's capital on Friday night.

Surveillance footage shows a masked man loading a mailbox into a black pick-up truck with black tinted windows and no license plates.

Witnesses say the suspect is an orangeish-white, 70-year-old male, 6′ 3″, 243 lbs, with orangeish-blonde hair. The person of interest was also reportedly not in compliance with the D.C. mask mandate.

Police have reason to believe there was also an accomplice, but no description was given. A Bible was found at the scene with the initials, M.P.

Anyone with information should call the D.C. Crime Busters hotline.

DC Police and the U.S. Post Office are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons involved.
