East Nashville, TN - An East Nashville man is under fire after listing his 12 sq ft doghouse on Zillow for $850 a month.
The listing has since been removed, but not before several prospective renters asked to see the home.
One renter told reporters that he was in a bidding war when the owner informed him that the space was no longer available for rent to any party.
"I was really bummed. It sounds like some neighbors complained for some reason," said the man. "There's a tool shed up the street going for $900. Hopefully, that works out."
It is still unclear if the homeowner's dog would have continued to live at the residence or if the owner would have relocated the pet.
The homeowner did not return our requests for comment.
