Game show fans furious Mike Tyson not named permanent host of Jeopardy

Los Angeles, CA- After months of guest hosts, Jeopardy announced producer Mike Richards will be the permanent host of the popular show, with Mayim Bialik hosting special episodes.

The decision has been met with mixed reactions, to say the least. While many were pulling for LeVar Burton or Ken Jennings, leaked documents show over four million viewers signed a petition to install Mike Tyson as the permanent host.

"They took Mike Richards over Tyson?" said one fan. "Tyson could take out Richards any day of the week."

"They got the wrong Mike," said another. "This has to be a mistake."

Though Tyson did not receive a guest-hosting opportunity this season, many thought the show was saving the surprise announcement for an upcoming sweeps week.

Tyson has not officially commented on the hosting decision, but inside sources say the boxing legend hopes to replace Pat Sajak on Wheel of Fortune when he retires.
