Grammy producers urge host, presenters to wear protective gear 'just in case'

Los Angeles, CA - According to reports, the Recording Academy has urged host Trevor Noah and presenters at the Grammy Awards to wear protective gear "just in case."

A producer for the show wrote via email, "In light of recent events, we would like to encourage all of those involved with Sunday night's production to bring along a light helmet just out of an abundance of caution."

Sources say that the Academy has also purchased custom Gucci and Versace headgear to keep on hand if presenters forget to bring their own.

The 64th Annual Grammy Awards will air live on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. Central.
