Nashville, TN - As Washington mulls over loan forgiveness for students across the country, one local Christian college is getting ahead of the trend, offering $5,000 loan forgiveness to any student who attends confession.
"The program is proving hugely successful. Attendance to confession is up 3,000%," said Dean of Schools Father Smith.
Father Smith declined to comment on what is being confessed but did suggest the school has some work to do.
The program is expected to continue into the Fall Semester.
