Brentwood, TN - According to witnesses close to the source, a local dad handed down the secret family Manwich recipe to his oldest son on Monday.
The private family recipe, which has been passed from father to son for the past 40 years, is considered a right of passage in the family.
It is unclear what prompted the father of two to share the carefully guarded secret sooner than expected, but some reports suggest the dad had a sniffle and may be concerned he's catching a cold.
The wife of the man told reporters, "I think he's being a little overdramatic, but whatever. It's just a can of Manwich and a tablespoon of mayonnaise."
