East Nashville, TN - An innocent lunch conversation about food turned ugly today when Angela Roberts admitted to friends that she's "not a big fan" of tacos. Roberts, the newest addition to the lunch group, was immediately asked to leave the table.
Anne Huff, who drove Roberts to the restaurant, told reporters, "I thought Angie was cool so I wanted her to meet my friends. If I'd known her stance on tacos, I never would have invited her. I'm very embarrassed."
Witnesses say that after the dismissal, Roberts moved to a nearby table and wept softly until her Uber driver showed up ten minutes later. It is unclear where she went after leaving the restaurant.
Another person at the table, who asked to remain anonymous because he didn't want to be associated with "the taco hater," told journalists, "I just can't trust someone who doesn't like tacos. There's something very wrong about that."
Roberts was not available for comment at the time of this publishing.
