Nashville animal coalition to open city's first pets-only art museum

Nashville, TN - A Nashville-based animal coalition announced on Saturday that they would soon open the city's first pets-only art museum.

"Our mission is to enrich the lives of pets throughout Middle Tennessee by introducing them to the beauty of fine art," said spokesperson Carol Romero.

The coalition has raised nearly $4 million through grants and private donations to bring its vision to life.

Along with commissioning original works, the coalition says they have secured loans of modern masterpieces, including the "Bonalisa," among others.

The museum plans to open exclusively to animals on June 1. Guided tours are expected to begin in July.
