Nashville, TN - According to reports, Nashville resident Trent Lentman woke up this morning with a mysterious medical condition that prevents him from wearing a mask in public.
Surprisingly, the undisclosed condition developed on the same day the Metro Health Department enacted Order 8 requiring face coverings in public.
Lentman told reporters, "I'm really disappointed because I fully support other people wearing masks. I just can't do it because of this dang medical condition. Bummer."
Reports throughout Middle Tennessee show Lentman is not alone. Thousands of Davidson County residents are reporting they also woke up with unknown conditions that make them intolerant to face coverings.
"It's an epidemic within a pandemic," said one Nashville health official. "These poor people can't wear masks when they need them the most."
The health department is closely watching the trend and encouraging those who can't wear masks to stay home.
