Nashville, TN- After nearly a week of 100-plus degree temperatures in Middle Tennessee, Nashville meteorologists urged viewers on Friday to grab a jacket as weekend temperatures plummet into the low 90s.
"We may even dip into the mid-80s as this summer polar vortex pushes into the area. So, be sure to bundle up if you're going out," said meteorologist Wendy Adams.
Not everyone was happy with the breezy forecast. One viewer wrote on the news channel's Facebook page, "Is this June or January? Is summer ever going to get here and stick around?"
Adams says the good news is the cool-down should only last through Monday.
"Don't worry, summer lovers! Next Tuesday's high is 103°."
