Nashville, TN - Dozens of guests at a local Nashville motel were disappointed on Friday when the property announced that their condemned pool was closed for the season.
One family staying at the inn told reporters, "We were told it would be closing September 1, so we were blindsided by the sign. The kids are so disappointed. I guess we'll have to swim in the Cumberland."
Inquisitor Nashville reached out to the motel manager, who told us that the condemned pool was closed prematurely due to staffing shortages.
"We just don't have enough people to staff it, so we had to shut it down for the season," said the manager.
According to health inspection reports, the pool was condemned on May 21, three days before it was scheduled to open.
