Nashville, TN - Congratulations, Music City! Nashville was ranked as the second-hottest job market in a recent U.S. employment beauty pageant. Nashville beat out over 19,000 incorporated cities and finished only a few points behind Austin, Texas.
While some have expressed disappointment in the second-place finish, most Nashvillians are excited about the title. One man cried tears of joy when he heard the news, saying he's never won a beauty contest before. Others expressed similar sentiments.
"The Nashville workforce should feel very proud today," said a Nashville pageant representative. "Sure, the Austin workforce outperformed us in the swimsuit competition, but we rocked the talent portion."
Second-place award sashes will be distributed door-to-door to every person employed in the Nashville area later this week.
