Washington, DC - Neanderthals across America are speaking out this afternoon after President Biden compared them to the Governors of Texas and Mississippi.
The insult came when the President was asked his thoughts on the Governors ending mask mandates and fully opening their states.
President Biden said, "The last thing we need is Neanderthal thinking that in the meantime, everything's fine, take off your mask, forget it. It still matters."
The response infuriated the Neanderthals community, who are calling for an immediate apology.
A spokesperson for the group told reporters, "It was a cheap shot. They are hurt, and they are angry to be compared to those less civilized."
