Atalanta, GA - According to reports, CNN's new chief has issued a memo challenging the network to limit its BREAKING NEWS headlines to 300 per day.
Sources say producers and hosts are struggling to meet the directive.
"With us being 24-hour news, 300 BREAKING NEWS headlines per day is really limiting," said an anonymous producer. "That's like only one every five minutes."
Still, the organization says it is committed to the goal and has already reduced its BREAKING NEWS stories to below 500 per day, give or take.
