Nashville, TN - Nissan Stadium announced on Wednesday that the Nashville venue will install a gigantic rain tent ahead of Garth Brooks' rescheduled concert on April 16.
"We were just as disappointed as the fans that we had to cancel the July show," said a stadium spokesperson. "So, we promise to build a ginormous tent to keep the thundering rolling and the fans all dry."
Insiders say the open-air venue is currently sourcing material to cover the 67,000-seat stadium and the surrounding 105 acres. The project is expected to take at least a month.
It is unclear if the tent will only be used for the one show or stored for future events. It is also unclear if the city will contribute tax-payer money to fund the giant tent.
