Norwegian lawmaker nominates Thanos for Nobel Peace Prize

Oslo, Norway - A Norwegian lawmaker has nominated Thanos for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize.

Speaking from his office in Oslo, parliament member Crenshaw Typhoon-Goody told reporters, "If you can look past the snap that killed half of the world's population, you will see that Thanos truly brought unity to our planet."

Typhoon-Goody continued by pointing out that it was Thanos that ended the civil war between the planet's most prominent heroes through his actions.

“It is now my hope that the Nobel Committee is able to consider the positive things Thanos has achieved and that it does not let one little incident erase all the good he has done,” Typhoon-Goody wrote on his Facebook page.

Thanos did not respond to our requests for comment because he is a comic book character.
