Outraged by price hikes, man vows to only visit Starbucks twice a day

Seattle, WA - Long-time Starbucks customer Jayson Carroll says he is outraged that the coffee chain is raising its menu prices for the third time in six months. And he's not backing down.

"You guys want to price gouge?" Carroll told a barista during a recent visit. "Then I'm cutting down to two visits a day. See how you like that."

Carroll, who is known to make 5-6 daily trips through the Starbucks drive-thru near his apartment, says he hopes his actions will send a strong message to the corporate office.

"I hate to do it, but I have to show how far I'm willing to take this," Carroll wrote on Starbucks ' Facebook page. "So starting today, I'm boycotting Starbucks after 7:00 p.m. each day."

In addition, the java connoisseur is also reducing his use of Starbucks Keurig K-Cups to three per day.

At the time of this post, Carroll says no one from Starbucks has contacted him to discuss price reductions. His next step is to drive to Seattle in hopes of meeting with the CEO.

He plans to stop by the original Starbucks store while he is there.
