Hollywood, CA - On the heels of Boris Johnson's resignation as UK Prime Minister, an online petition for Gary Busey to play the eccentric politician in a biopic has reached 200.
Filmmakers Donald and Derek Dunham told reporters, "We always thought Busey was born to play the role. Now, it's looking like the world agrees."
Busey is best known for his role as Gary Busey in the 2003 TV show I'm with Busey, as well as his critically-acclaimed performances in two Sharknado films.
Busey reacted to the petition, saying, "I would be honored to play Optimus Prime and look forward to moving to France."
No release date has been announced for the film.
