Police release photos of elite car thieves suspected in Nashville area heist

Murfreesboro, TN - Just days after five high-performance cars were stolen from a dealership showroom, local police have released images of the elite team of suspects.

"This wasn't just a bunch of teenagers goofing around," said Detective Jim Walker. "This was the work of an organized, elite team of professionals."

The team used military-grade equipment to cut the alarm system before disappearing with the vehicles. It is unclear how detectives tracked down their names and images.

Over 300 tips have come through the crime stoppers hotline, but none have led to an arrest. The suspects are still at large and considered armed and dangerous.
