Nashville, TN - Thousands of football fans celebrated this morning when Punxsutawney Phil emerged from his burrow in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, and predicted early spring rolls at Super Bowl parties across the country.
While kick-off is not scheduled until 5:30 p.m. (Central), the famed groundhog's spokesperson declared with certainty that the delicious appetizer would be ready by 4:45 p.m.
"I'm so excited," said one party-goer. "I canceled lunch plans with my grandma so I can get there early. I love spring rolls."
A party planner from Brentwood, TN, expressed concern because spring rolls were not on his initial menu. Still, he said he would make it happen to honor tradition.
The Inquisitor reached out to grocers across Middle Tennessee to assess supply and they have assured us they have plenty of rolls in stock and are prepared to meet the demand.
