Washington, DC - Republican Rep. Tom Graves of Georgia announced on Friday that he will be stepping down from Congress in October to finish filming Borat 2.
Graves told reporters, "With the House planning to wrap up the People's business in the next few weeks, I intend to step down from Congress and complete production on the long-awaited Borat sequel."
He went on to say that the new film will continue the story of Borat Sagdiyev, a Kazakh journalist who travels the U.S. to make a documentary on Trump's America.
"We made the first film back in 2006 before I joined the House," said Graves. "So, I can't wait for everyone to see what Borat has been up to the past 14 years."
The Georgia Representative will spend the remainder of September finishing his congressional work, while also getting fit for some bikini scenes in the new film.
A release date for Borat 2 has not been announced.
