Moscow, Russia - The Russia-based DarkSide ransom gang believed to be responsible for the Colonial pipeline attack released a statement on Monday regarding their intentions.
"We are apolitical, we do not participate in geopolitics, do not need to tie us with a defined government," the statement read. "Our goal is to secure unlimited $5 footlongs and not creating problems for society."
The statement went on to demand unlimited toppings on the sandwiches and thorough toasting.
The Biden administration is closely monitoring the situation and working alongside Subway representatives to discuss options if necessary.
