Nashville, TN - When Nashville couple, Kelly Douglas and Brent Manning, got together to exchange Christmas gifts on Sunday night, they were amazed to discover they unknowingly got each other the same exact $25 Cheesecake Factory gift card.
"It's destiny," said Manning. "We haven't even talked about the Cheesecake Factory with each other. I just saw it and thought she might like it. She loves cheesecake."
Douglas told reporters, "Please don't print this, but the funny thing is I hate cheesecake. I actually got it in a gift exchange at work and thought Brent might use it. Looks like we're going to the Cheesecake Factory if we don't break up in the next couple of days."
Douglas went on to say off-the-record that the couple has been experiencing some tough times in recent weeks and she has been looking for a sign whether she should continue the relationship or not. She thinks maybe the Cheesecake Factory gift card coincidence is a sign she should stick around a few more weeks.
Manning said off-the-record that he is planning to propose over dessert when they go to the restaurant and is already coordinating with the staff to bury the ring in Kelly's piece of cheesecake.
