Study: Despite 20% drop in gas prices, complaints about gas prices up 80%

Nashville, TN - As gas prices continue to fall across the country, a new study has found that complaints about gas prices remain at all-time highs.

"Gas prices are down around 20%, but complaints about gas prices are still up 80%," said lead research Charles Shwartz.

According to the study, most of the self-identified "complainers" compare current prices to 2020 costs. One man said he's been angry about prices since 1963 when gas was 30¢.

About 10% of participants said they drive electric vehicles but still enjoy complaining about gas prices every chance they get.

"When we first bought our EV, we really missed complaining about gas. Fortunately, our family and friends still let us join in the venting about prices.
