Hermitage, TN - A suspect who allegedly vandalized a Hermitage Zumba studio is in custody this morning after an hour-long dance-off with police.
Studio surveillance video shows the suspect tearing up the dance floor before hustling out the door at the sound of sirens in the distance.
According to witnesses, Officer Tim Charleston pursued the running man under a bridge where the suspect took a swing and pulled a Dougie on the officer. The officer popped the assailant before twerking to get away. From there, the two were caught in an hour-long tango.
In the end, the jittery suspect was no match for Charleston and surrendered without further incident. No one was injured in the exhibition, but both expect to be sore for the next couple of days.
