Taco Bell introduces new Tomato Soup Burrito

Just one day after debuting its new Grilled Cheese Burrito, Taco Bell announced its new Tomato Soup Burrito on Monday.

A company spokesperson told reporters, "We feel like our Tomato Soup Burrito is the perfect companion for our new Grilled Cheese Burrito, and we can't wait for customers to try both together."

The new menu item features vine-ripened roasted tomatoes, onions, basil, and Taco Bell's proprietary seasoning.

John Hampton, one of the first to try the new burrito, said, "This burrito makes 2020 worth it. I feel like there is hope in the world again."

Others have suggested that this is just the beginning for "soupritos" and the new item opens the door for chicken noodle soup, potato leek soup, and clam chowder burritos.

We reached out to Taco Bell for comment but the company is remaining coy on what they are cooking up next.

"I'm not at liberty to say what's next, but I guarantee it will be souper," wrote a representative.
