Taylor Swift fans furious after Nashville mural artist replaces star with giant shrub

Nashville, TN - Taylor Swift fans are furious after a Nashville mural artist replaced the former country singer with a giant shrub.

The Legends Corner mural, located downtown Nashville, is a popular pilgrimage for Swifties, so the decision to cover her came with a considerable amount of backlash.

"It's ridiculous. Has that shrub sold 37 million albums?" said one angry Swifty. "I doubt it."

Bell Buckle, Tennessee Swifty Chapter President, Charles Hammond IV, says he is organizing a protest for later this week and calling for all Americans to boycott any mural that doesn't prominently feature Swift.

"This is a great opportunity for all Americans to unite for the common good. We can't let this act of meanness go unchecked. We demand Swift Justice," said Hammond.

It is unclear what led the artist to change the mural, but leaked photos of the initial renovation suggest the original plan was to replace Swift with Kanye West. The artist later replaced both with the shrub.
