Houston, TX - According to reports, Ted Cruz insisted on an extra blanket after he got a little chilly on a flight to Cancun on Wednesday.
Witnesses onboard heard the Texas senator retelling how he and his family braved the frigid temperatures for the 10-minute ride to the airport, admitting he forgot to pack a jacket for their Mexican beach vacation.
One passenger told reporters, "I heard him complaining about the temperature in the cabin and asking a crew member to turn up the heat. When they told him it was preset on 74, he requested a second blanket."
An hour into the flight, Cruz reportedly got overheated and asked for an "ice-cold bottle of Pellegrino."
Ted Cruz's comfort level is unclear at the time of this posting.
