Houston, Texas - Senator Ted Cruz was spotted over the weekend selling bottled water to Texas storm victims to raise money for an upcoming family vacation to Aruba.
Cruz told reporters, "I'm just trying to be a good dad. The kids really want to go to Aruba for spring break, and I'm determined to make it happen."
The senator went on to say he hoped that selling the $10 waters would also help his suffering constituents have clean water for the first time in days.
"It's a win-win," said Cruz. "Anything for my family and the good people of Texas."
Sources say he plans to hold additional fundraisers in the coming weeks because the kids want to stay in a Presidential suite at the Aruba Ritz Carlton.
