Tennessee Aquarium animals now decorated for Christmas

Chattanooga, TN - The Tennessee Aquarium announced on Tuesday that all their animals are now decorated for Christmas, and the attraction is ready to kick off its 2020 holiday celebration.

The aquatics team has been working diligently over the last month to outfit each of their 12,000 residents with Santa hats and other festive attire.

A spokesperson for the aquarium told reporters, “We had a near flawless transition to our holiday programming. Except for a tiny incident while putting a Christmas sweater on a tiger shark, the animals were mostly cooperative. Everyone is healing fine.”

Along with the decorated animals, guests can enjoy an underwater scavenger hunt, an underwater sleigh ride, and enter a raffle for a stingray.

The holiday season runs from November 20 to December 31.
