Tennessee highway officials urge caution as road crews continue to fill potholes

Nashville, TN - Tennessee highway officials urged caution on Thursday as road crews continue to fill potholes left over by this week's winter storm.

"We are asking drivers to be extra vigilant for workers posted inside pothole locations," said a spokesperson. "They are there to help motorists identify dangerous potholes ahead. So let's return the favor and keep them safe."

According to reports, over 1,000 workers are posted inside potholes throughout the city and will remain there until pavement crews are available to fill the holes with cement.

This is a developing story.
