Foxborough, MA - The Tennessee Titans have reportedly built a 100-foot privacy fence along their sideline in Gillette Stadium to help hide their playbook from New England film crews. The added security comes just weeks after a Patriots videographer was caught suspiciously filming a Cincinnati Bengals practice.
A spokesperson for the Titans told reporters on Friday morning, "We feel the privacy fence is a subtle way to ensure the integrity of the game and give our coaching staff the freedom to review the playbook without fear it will be compromised."
The fence, which runs the entire length of the field, has no openings. It is unclear if Titans players will have to scale the wall to get on the field or if a gate will be installed before the Saturday night kick-off. It is also unclear how the coaching staff will monitor the game beyond the jumbotrons.
New England declined to comment.
