Unemployed single man, stuck at home, too busy to take census

Nashville, TN - Doug Herman, an unemployed single man who hasn't left his couch since the stay-at-home order was issued, hasn't found the time to take the 2020 Census.

"Yeah, I've been super busy," Herman told reporters. "I hope to squeeze it in next week, but it all depends on my schedule."

According to reports, Herman is not alone. 55% of Americans still haven't had the chance to complete the extensive 10 question survey. A local census organizer says this is understandable.

"We get it. We ask for 10 minutes of your valuable time once every ten years. It's a heavy burden to fulfill a Constitutional duty."

While April 1 is considered Census Day, the official deadline isn't until August 14. That's 129 days for readers who are wondering. You've got plenty of time.
