Nashville, TN- AMC Theaters opened this weekend with heightened safety protocols and customer mask requirements. To make the experience more enjoyable for popcorn-loving movie-goers and to celebrate the reopening, all popcorn purchases now come with a free souvenir mask with built-in cornhole.
A spokesperson for the company told reporters, "We wanted to create a mask that maximized safety and popcorn enjoyment. I think we did it with our 2020 Cornhole Mask™."
Every customer we spoke to raved about the mask. One man said, "It's a mask, but it's also a napkin. I can't imagine eating popcorn without one ever again."
Another man told reporters that he doesn't even like popcorn, but bought a small combo just so he could get the cool mask.
According to promotional materials, a small and medium popcorn purchase comes with one mask, while a large comes with two. The souvenir masks are available in four colors and are only available for a limited time.
