Washington, TN - The Biden administration announced plans on Friday to reverse a Trump-era rule that deregulated volume restrictions on showerhead microphones.
A Biden spokesperson told reporters, "The president feels that by limiting the volume on showerheads, the U.S. can reduce its noise pollution footprint by 38% each year."
Former President Trump often complained that showerhead mics were not loud enough, so the move will undoubtedly draw a harsh response.
It is unclear when the new restrictions will take effect, but Biden is expected to travel to Ohio and host a special town hall at a Columbus YMCA shower room to address the change.
