Bluesville - A local man is recovering today after being attacked by a small blue dog he abandoned 19 years ago.
According to witnesses, the man showed up at his former residence unannounced expecting an emotional reunion with the animal. Instead, he got five stitches.
"Serves him right," said a neighbor. "He told that dog he was going to college. That was 19 years ago. What college takes 19 years?"
The man did not explain his whereabouts for the past two decades and offered no apologies.
Meanwhile, the 25-year-old blue dog is doing just fine with her new owner Josh.
