Austin, TX - Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk was spotted at a Texas gas station on Thursday morning buying Mega Millions lottery tickets as the jackpot reached a whopping $1.02 billion dollars.
A witness told reporters, "I thought maybe he was buying some for his staff, but he only bought two."
Musk was reportedly excited about winning the near-record jackpot, promising the cashier that if he won, he would be back to buy her a Coke.
