San Francisco, CA - According to reports, Elon Musk was spotted on Friday afternoon trying to return Twitter without a receipt.
Witnesses say Musk approached the customer service desk located at the company headquarters in San Francisco, where he requested to return his $44 billion purchase.
When the Tesla founder could not produce a receipt, he was offered company credit. He refused.
"I told him, 'No receipt, no refund,'" said Twitter Customer Service Specialist Bill Andrews. "And when he refused to accept $44 billion Twitter Bucks as credit, I asked him to leave."
Documents show security was called, but Musk left peacefully.
