GOP hopeful White House cat will limit Biden's ability to sign executive orders

Washington, DC - As the White House prepares to grow their family of pets with the addition of a cat, the Republican party is hopeful that a new feline will help limit Biden's ability to sign executive orders.

According to a GOP spokesperson, "The GOP supports President Biden's decision to adopt a cat and we encourage him to bring it with him to work every day in the Oval Office."

The spokesperson said that they would also wholeheartedly support the president if he decides to adopt multiple cats.

"The only thing better than one cat in an office is two or three," said the spokesperson.

Democrats hope to mitigate any interference by hiring a cat expert to train Biden to recognize and counter feline distraction tactics.

The White House says the training is going well, and the president will be ready by the time a cat arrives.
