Jeff Bezos stops by Nashville school to donate over $200K worth of spare change

Madison, TN - Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos stopped by a Madison Middle School on Wednesday to donate over $200K worth of spare change.

According to sources, the Amazon founder said the money was just weighing him down during his visit to Music City and he thought the pocket change might help fund programs for Nashville students to learn more about robotics and computer science.

Bezos reportedly spent time with the middle schoolers discussing engineering and technology before diving into a lengthy presentation on why the students should never get married.

An announcement said the money will be used on field trips, computer hardware and technology upgrades at the schools, as well as education courses on prenuptial agreements.
