Nashville, TN - Local resident Jeremy Davis turned to Craigslist on Tuesday, hoping to trade his 2020 stash of toilet paper for a 2021 stash of gas cans.
The post read, "Gas Cans Wanted...ASAP! Willing to trade 8 premium rolls of double-ply toilet paper for each container. This is the good stuff! Serious inquiries only!"
Davis told reporters he wants the gas cans in case he buys a car later this year.
At the time of this publishing, Davis had already traded 80 rolls. He says he plans to meet a stranger in an alley downtown on Wednesday afternoon to make another transaction.
Davis hopes to secure 100 gas cans by the end of the week.
