Nashville, TN - According to reports, a Nashville man was spotted in a Dunkin' Donuts parking lot on Monday morning, stuffing donuts into his vehicle's gas tank.
When a store manager stepped outside to see if the man needed help, the man reportedly told him, "Gas is $4 per gallon. These donuts were 99¢ each. I heard America runs on Dunkin'. I'm hoping that's true."
Witnesses say the man stuffed a dozen donuts into the tank, including eight chocolate glazed, three with sprinkles, and an apple fritter. Then, he drove off toward the interstate.
At the time of this writing, the man was spotted broken down on the shoulder of I-24. It is unclear if the car trouble has anything to do with stuffing donuts into the gas tank.
It is also still unclear if America really does run on Dunkin'.
